Payments

The hirer shall pay a Security Bond/Deposit within seven days of booking. The bond is at the owners discretion, but will be a minimum of $1,200 for Indulgence and $500 for the other Boats. The Security bond will be refunded subject to deductions for fuel and car parking costs and other deductions if the houseboat is returned late or in a damaged or soiled condition, or in breach of any other terms and conditions of hire. The hire fees for Indulgence and Enterprize are payable 6 weeks prior to the commencement of the hire. Other fees are payable at the commencement of the hire, except for bookings during December, January, Southern 80, Easter and all Victorian School and Public Holidays, when the full hire fee is required 6 weeks in advance.
Indulgence rates are based on an occupancy of up to 8 people. An additional fee per person is payable where 9 to 12 people wish to board Indulgence. This extra fee per person is $300 for midweek or weekend hires, or $500 for full week hires. In winter this fee will reduce to $150 and $250 per person respectively.

All cancellations will result in a cancellation fee of $90.00 being deducted from the Security bond. Cancellations made 9 months or less prior to the date of hire, will result in no refund of the Security bond unless the boat is rebooked by another party at the same hire fee. Customers are advised to secure separate travel insurance to avoid any loss incurred in the event of an unexpected cancellation.

   The hire period commences at 3:00pm for Indulgence and Enterprize and at 2:00pm for all other boats. The hire period finishes at 10:00am on the last day of hire. Midweek hires board Monday and depart Friday. Weekend hires board Friday and depart Monday, whilst Full Week hires commence on either a Monday or Friday or by arrangement.
    Number of persons aboard must not exceed the number of berths, under the NSW Maritime Authority. Drivers must be 18 years of age or over, and must hold a current car driver's licence. (boat licenses are not required)
   The hirer must read and sign a comprehensive Hirer's Agreement prior to departure.
